Inverness Academy is a unique alternative high school that accommodates varying learning and ability levels. Our program is a combination of traditional classroom instruction with a low student teacher ratio to accommodate all learning styles and ability levels as well as web-based classes. Our classroom instruction is blended instruction of a flipped and traditional classrooms. A computer lab and laptops are available to all students for instructional purposes. This technology is also utilized to support project-based learning that is based on real-world application. Students can also complete classes through Grad Point and take career and technical education (CTE) classes at our traditional local high school. Inverness Academy has lower number for student to teacher ratio allowing for individualized/ differentiated instruction and one to one teacher instruction.
